This evening I will post a recipe to celebrate St. Valentino but a very simple way to enjoy apples, may be some good pancakes for the carnival but also a dessert for the Christmas period, points out certain types of pancakes that are eaten in the Christmas markets in central and northern Europe.
180 grams of flour 00
80 grams of sugar
4 apples
4 amaretti
2 eggs 2 cups milk
2 tablespoons Marsala
1 tbsp baking powder
a pinch of cinnamon powder
sugar
abundant seed oil
- coarsely crush the macaroons,
- beat eggs with sugar,
- combine amaretto, flour, baking powder, a pinch of cinnamon, Marsala and then the milk,
- stir and allow to rest for an hour,
- wash the apples,
- remove core and cut it in the sense of the breadth, into slices about 1 cm thick,
- dip the apple slices in batter,
- brown them on both sides, in plenty of boiling ilio,
- drain with a slotted spoon, place on absorbent paper to remove the excess oil and serve hot, sprinkled with powdered sugar.
